About systags

The company systags was founded in 2006, although the founders began working together at "syrius" in 1998. Since then, we have kept on developing our CMS "Beach42".
The CMS emerged to certain specialized tools as a newsletter system, an "Intelligent Product Database", some nice web-based CRM tools and even a help desk. There is a version for separate webpages with one common editorial system; this enables the editor to publish one document in all webpages with one click.

All our products are available in English, and we are in the process of creating a full catalog. Although we have focused on the German market, having quite a few customers from Japan or the US importing technical products has forced us to keep our English versions up-to-date.

Our collaboration with an Italian company has allowed an Italian version of our software to be produced as well, and we’ve taken part in several European science projects, which has helped us to gain experience with websites in all European languages, including Russian.

Our next step is China: with one of our senior software-developers hailing from there, we are in a position to accomplish a great deal for companies who want to develop a Chinese site.
Our CMS "Beach42" is written in Perl and requires an "Apache" webserver – database is mostly mySQL – there is a Windows version, although we prefer Linux systems.

Frontend shows xhtml and CSS, so the design can change quickly and easily.

We place great emphasis on safety, including data safety: using Perl, we have a much safer system than PHP scriptwriters.

We do not charge a license fee, and the code is open to customers, so that they may develop their systems without us, if they so choose.
